Urs Schnell has been the Director of FONDATION SUISA since April 2008. Previously, he held the position of Managing Director of the VBMS (Association of Bernese Music Schools) and SMS (Swiss Music Syndicate). He holds a teaching diploma in flute from the Winterthur Conservatory and a degree in Arts Management from the University of Basel.
