Samim is co-founder and CEO at Okio, a startup developing AI Audio tools. He has been a musician most of his life and has produced global top20 hits. He has been a pioneer in the field of Generative AI for over a decade. Most recently, he was a product designer at Hugging Face, having previously spent four years at Google AI focusing on the development and design of Generative AI products. In 2016, he co-founded CreativeAI, one of the earliest VC backed startups developing AI tools for creative industries. Back in 2011, Samim co-founded 2Beats, a company that developed procedural generation tools for the game industry.
