Holder of a Bachelor's in communication sciences and economics as well as a DAS in cultural management, Léa Romanens has worked in contemporary music for over ten years. She has held various permanent positions in production, communication, administration and programming, notably at L'Amalgame (concert hall - Yverdon), le Nouveau Monde (cultural centre - Fribourg), Le Castrum (multidisciplinary festival - Yverdon).
She has been secretary-general at Fri-Son since 2018. She also sits on a number of cultural association committees (Association K / Verein C, La Gustav) and in parallel with her cultural activities, she was elected at the legislative level to Yverdon-les-Bains municipality for six years.
