Arthur Hnatek is a 1990 born Swiss contemporary musician, constantly reinventing his musical world. He performs and produces live solo-electronic music, published by Mouthwatering Records, exploring the boundaries between improvisation and functional club music with his drums and modular synths. He is also active as a composer for his jazz projects, the “Arthur Hnatek Trio” (ZKB Jazzpreis winner 2019). After graduating from “The New School for Contemporary Music” in New York City, Arthur has traveled the world drumming with Nonesuch and ECM recording pianist Tigran Hamasyan or part of the Erik Truffaz Quartet. He is a recipient of the prestigious Swiss Music Price in 2022.
