For around twenty years, Patrick Thévenin has been writing about culture in the broad sense of the term, whether this is to do with music, contemporary art, fashion or societal trends. Having started out his career alongside Jean-François Bizot – founder of the magazine Actuel and Radio Nova – he then successively took on the roles of deputy editor-in-chief at city mag Nova Magazine, then at electronic music magazine Trax, before joining weekly women's magazine Grazia for 7 years, where he occupied the positions of editor-in-chief for culture and then digital. A few years ago, he launched his freelance career and now regularly writes for fashion magazines Antidote and Mixte, cultural magazine Inrockuptibles, music magazines Tsugi and Trax and the website I-D.fr. He also gives courses on the history of modern music and is working on a major exhibition at the Philharmonie de Paris for spring 2025.
