The jazz scene in London is booming – Kokoroko or Sons of Kemet are part of a young generation of formations taking their fresh fusion jazz on tour around the world. Many of these musicians have attended workshops organised by development organisation Tomorrow's Warriors. Founded in 1991 by musician Janine Irons, the organisation is promoting more diversity in the scene. Jazz from London is blooming, but how is the genre faring in Switzerland? Irons will present the project, explain why jazz is on the up in London and, together with musicians from Switzerland, shed some light on the current jazz landscape.
