Pronto, from Solothurn, hit the ground running in early 2017 with his no-budget video to the song "Clean". The video received over one million clicks on YouTube within a short space of time. Pronto's mumble rap style was praised not only in Switzerland, but also in Germany, France and Italy. In 2018, he signed a contract with Universal Music, released his album "Europe" and had his first live gigs at festivals. Pronto has also collaborated with known German rappers, such as Trettmann, Marvin Game, Mortel, Greeny and Eno. In 2020, he released the EP "Volta". The six tracks combine dialect and afro trap and deal with his feelings towards his home away from home, Ghana. In 2021, Senyo Mensah, Pronto's real name, was nominated for "Best Breaking Act" at the Swiss Music Awards.
