Kerala Dust have long been a promising insider's secret in the electro scene. Founded in South London at Goldsmiths in 2016, the trio combine psychedelic rock, blues and techno. During live performances, the three Berliners-by-choice reinterpret and reloop their works, breaking them down and putting them back together again. Their second album "Light, West", released in 2020, is the result of one-and-a-half years of work. Singer-songwriter Edmund Kenny, who grew up in Zurich, had previously numerous whimsical short stories in the style of David Lynch, on which the lyrics of the songs are based. As such, the album sounds like the groovy soundtrack for a film that had never been made. Fittingly, they filmed the experimental live concert film "Live, West" in 2021 – naturally in the style of David Lynch.
