Famous (UK)

Whether the band's name is meant ironically or not, Famous are living up to their name in the London underground scene. With its debut EP "England", released in 2019, and its genre-transcending, dynamic cold wave, the London post punk trio has won over English music critics. The second EP "The Valley", released by Untitled Recs, followed in 2021 and was also highly acclaimed. The band have further fleshed out their edgy sound in their new songs, where cold wave and noise rock meet heavy metal influences and spoken word passages. Famous have also earned the reputation of being one of the most exciting and unconventional live acts in the London underground scene over the last few years. They have already played with the likes of Black Midi, Sports Team and Mica Levi’s Good Sad Happy Bad and supported Black Country, New Road on their UK tour.
