Direct, humorous and provocative: Rapper Big Zis has been tearing up the Swiss music scene with her snotty attitude and clever lyrics since the 1990s. She now has four albums and five EPs under her belt, has played hundreds of concerts and filmed over 30 video clips, and is still constantly evolving even after years in the game. She won Best Swiss Video Clip in 2020 for her work as a director, and was awarded the Zurich Art Prize in 2021. Her highly acclaimed album "4xLove:2", recorded during lockdown, once again captured the spirit of the times – an album featuring an experimental combination of hip hop and rap not only with jazz, but also with feminist statements, such as on tracks like "iCare" and "FCV" aka Funky Cool Vagina.
