Batbait is a band to watch out for. The four-person group entices their prey – willing dancers – to the dancefloor with their charming, raw, unpolished punk and garage rock sounds, where they lie in wait with "songs drenched in their signature bloody rock style". The hunting theme pursued by the four art mediation graduates has served them well: In 2021, Gianna Brühwiler, Simona Bisch, Sandra Keller and Alanah Rüttimann impressed the Demotape Clinic jury with their energetic guitar sounds and authentic energy, winning both in the "Rock" category and "Demo of the Year". 2022 has numerous concerts in store for the band, and with their latest EP "Softness, Pt. I", they are celebrating the smaller things in life and asking the big questions.
