The Basel singer-songwriter generally focuses on themes of acceptance, representation and awareness, creating an alternative to the reality she is exposed to as a young BIPOC artist. "Melancholic, romantic and perhaps a little critical" is how Anouchka Gwen describes her sound, which hovers between R&B, indie pop, electronica and neo soul.
