The band Annie Taylor named itself after a courageous woman. In 1901, New York stunt woman Annie Taylor went over the Niagara Falls in a barrel at the age of 63 – and survived. The Zurich quartet is a hit on live shows with catchy guitar sounds and the haunting voice of guitarist Gini Jungi. The band describes its mix of Rock'n'Roll, grunge, psych rock and dream pop as "grunge-psychedelic-rock". With their debut album "Sweet Mortality", released in 2020, Annie Taylor demonstrate their knack for astute song-writing. In 2021, the band was nominated as "SRF 3 Best Talent" as part of the Swiss Music Awards. They are currently working on new songs.
