Anna Erhard spent five years busking through Europe with the trio Serafyn. Now, the musician from Grisons has teamed up with producer and drummer Pola Roy (formerly from the band "Wir sind Helden") to embark on a new musical adventure. On her debut album "Short Cut" released in 2021, featuring laconic vocals and subtle folk instruments, the 29-year-old delves into her generation's concerns about the future: an internship here, a broken relationship there, escaping abroad, doing a language programme, coming back and not knowing what to do next. "We can lean into anything / and anything will give in", she sings in the title track "Short Cut", voicing the idea that ultimately we need to take responsibility for ourselves.
