Bashing your own Music

Does songwriting always have to be a dead serious process? Does art always need to be divinely inspired? In this workshop, led by the Basel-based musician Manuel Gagneux (Zeal & Ardor), the answer is a definite no. The aim of the workshop is to demystify the process of writing music. There are a wide variety of ways to do this. From rolling a die to jokes to a mash-up, the goal is clear: more silliness, less pathos. The workshop will be rounded out with stories and examples from Manuel Gagneux’s career in music.
